I do love these fabric covered boxes and have bought quite a few lately .
These vary in size and the bottom one has sections and a tray. These are all French.Just the thing for little treasures,
sewing items etc, they are decorative in their own right. If you have ever tried to make one yourself you will really appreciate
these vintage examples!
They seem to have been really popular in France and often adorn antique textile dealers stalls
filled with lace and trims especially the ones that have seen better days, there is a faded elegance to them

We have just returned from our first trip of the season. Brittany this time.
We have a selection of goodies and this delightful little set are great fun. About three inches tall and really beautifully
